Lance Phenocryst the Longdishu

Longdishu are Crystal Hell Type Longma, Longma who were born in Tartarus and have a Crystal pony relative. Lance's parents were a normal Longdi and a Crystal pony and thus he is Second Generation, having four Longma traits, being horns, claws, tail and belly scales. Longdishu can have either the normal Longdi fiery mane, or if they eat rocks or gems, their fiery mane may turn into hot Crystallized fire. The more rocks and gems they eat, the larger their Crystallized mane will grow. The rock like growths on Longdishu are made of different kinds of crystals and gems rather than normal rocks, and are rigid rather than smooth, having many angles. Lance's crystals are made from volcanic crystals known as phenocrysts. Along with having a Crystallized fiery mane, Longdishu with belly scales breathe shards of hot crystal instead of fire.

Lance once lived in Tartarus, however he wanted to go out and learn of his Crystal Pony heritage, and so left to go live in the Crystal empire. While researching he found out about one of the favorite Crystal Pony pastimes, jousting. This was perfect for him, as his Longma magical trait allows him to change the length of his Longma horns. By putting a small round protector at end of each of his horns he's able to joust by using them instead of the normal sticks. Lance isn't always a good sport while he is jousting, if his opponent has rubbed him the wrong way in the past, he'll startle them during the joust, spitting a small shard of Crystal, drawing their attention away from him. He's always sure to do this in such a way that isn't noticeable as to not get caught. When he joust he plays to win, and hopes to one day win the world championships of jousting.
